The endowment fund of the Cleveland International Piano Competition was established in 1996 with transformational gifts from Mr. and Mrs. George W. Sievila and Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Manuel. Their goal in creating the fund was to ensure the Competition’s financial survival for the benefit of future generations of pianists and for the inspiration of audiences.

The Cleveland International Piano Competition welcomes gifts to the endowment fund to aid in our continued growth. These contributions have a long-lasting impact on the future of the CIPC and its programs. Gifts to the endowment fund can be made in two ways:

General Endowment Support

Gifts made to the endowment for General Support help the Competition address areas of ongoing need central to our mission.

Named Endowment Support

Gifts made to the endowment in named support allow donors the opportunity to leave a legacy, whether by supporting competitor prizes or our important educational and artistic initiatives.

Please consider making a commitment to the Cleveland International Piano Competition that will sustain our organization for the generations to come. Contact our office at 216.707.5397 or [email protected], to discuss your philanthropic legacy and the Cleveland International Piano Competition Endowment Fund.
